What this is
ArUco Studio makes printable, CAD-ready ArUco and ChArUco markers in your browser. It is free to use without an account. If you sign in, you can save your documents online and open them on any device; that part is provided by Simple Hosted Files, the accounts and storage service ArUco Studio uses.
Your files are yours
- You keep every right you have in your documents and the markers you make. We only store what you save online and show it back to you.
- You can download any saved file at any time, and export everything as a zip, on any plan, including after a paid plan ends.
- We do not read your files for any purpose other than running the service (storing, backing up, and restoring them).
Plans and payment
- The free plan includes a limited number of online files. A paid plan raises the limit and is billed monthly through Stripe.
- You can cancel any time from the billing page. If a paid plan ends, your files stay readable and downloadable; you just cannot create more than the free limit.
What we ask of you
- Do not use the service to store anything illegal, or to attack, overload or get around the limits of the service or other people’s accounts.
- Keep your sign-in secure. Anyone who can read your email inbox can sign in as you.
What we do and do not promise
- Check a printed marker before you rely on it: measure it, and verify it with your own detector. The Studio prints at true scale and checks its output, but printers and materials vary.
- We make every online save a new version, keep deleted files in the trash for 30 days, and keep a second copy of your data. We try hard not to lose anything.
- The service is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. Keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose; exporting is easy.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or abuses the service. We will say why, and let you download your files first unless the law says otherwise.
Closing your account
You can delete your account from the account page. Your files stay untouched for 30 days in case you change your mind; after that they are deleted, and backup copies expire 30 days later.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email your account address first. To reach us, reply to any email we have sent you, or open an issue on GitHub.
